Sometimes when riding the waves of mistranslation, the unexpected blind-sides you and plans get turned on their ears. As a result, whether you want this or not: a format change becomes necessary.

So was it with the creation of this EP. After the release of their first album “Withered”, Sidekick Wave had some big plans all of which got inundated by a glass of water, knocked over on a laptop. As a result, plans got halted and it was back to the drawing board - where this EP arose. Composed on an iPad, using the same programs as used on the first Sidekick release CAFè GAMING”, this little slice of lo-fi, goofy dance is ready to turn that frown upside down and lift the lilt and wilt out of your day.

Recorded and mixed 8/29/21-9/20/21 in various locations in Mexico: Cozumel, Tulum, Merida, X-Cajum Cenote and on an extended bus ride from Quintana Roo to the Yucatan.
